‘Goodnight Angels!’

FUNDRAISING
Please welcome our newest addition to the fundraising team “Goodnight Angels!” Each book purchased directly through the Families of SMA Canada site or future direct fundraisers, 50% of the net proceeds will be donated to research a cure for SMA today. Please note that this is in addition to the partial proceeds that will be donated for every book sold from any location.

THE BOOK
“Goodnight Angels!” is a colourful and beautifully illustrated children‘s picture book designed to clear away fears of the night through the introduction of positive ideas, primarily through the use of Gentle Angels. Story by Patricia Factor and Illustrated by Kent Nevins. ISBN 978-0-9868190-0-1

THE AUTHOR
Patricia Factor started reading novels at an early age and has been writing for many years. That at least explains why she has a BA in Classical Studies! She continues to enjoy the ever changing “art of writing” over the eons from 3,000 B.C. through to the present day.
It wasn‘t until she wrote this story to help her own child that she felt it was time to start sharing her work. Encouraged by some very positive feedback others experienced through reading this story provided the “fuel” necessary to see this project through to completion. Now she is just thrilled that so many children parents alike are benefiting from reading “Goodnight Angels!”

WHY SMA?
Dear friends of Patricia’s, lost their child to the type 1 SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) where babies currently rarely reach the age of 2. When the opportunity was there to help increase funds to research a cure for a charity, we immediately knew that the Families of SMA Canada was the place we wanted to help create an even brighter future! “Remember, a break-through in any area of research will help all others!” Patricia Factor Thank you so much for your support and know that your generosity, however it may be given, is making a difference!
